Turn around times
It can take up to 2 weeks for the printers to print smaller items such as invitations and rsvp cards and up to a month to print a table plan. For urgent orders please enquire as I may be able to expedite the delivery for an additional charge.
All stationery, except table plans, will be delivered to myself for quality control and packaging prior to sending them out to you. I endeavour to send all orders Royal Mail Special Delivery and will ensure that dispatch information is supplied if available.
Please be aware that items that require hand finishing (e.g. ribbon, tags, belly bands) will require additional time dependent on volume this needs to be considered at the time of the order.
Turn around times are effected by delayed payments, payments need to be prompt.
I allocate enough time to create your proofs and pieces depending on the discussed design, each order includes a predetermined number of proofs (2 for Tweak it, 3 for Customised and Bespoke orders) additional proofs may incur an additional charge and delay your turnaround time. If you decide to change your order significantly from that discussed after receiving all proofs you will need to pay for a redesign.
For Bespoke Orders, I require the bespoke fee along with 50% of the remaining order total, prior to any designing. This is a non refundable deposit. When this deposit is received I can confirm your order and your prices.
Prices are subject to change up until deposit is paid, prompt payment is required to secure price.
For Ready Designed Orders, 50% of the total is required prior to any artwork being carried out on your stationery. This is a non refundable deposit and when received I am able to confirm your order and your prices.
Please note that NO items can be sent to the printers until they have been paid for in full.
The deposit payment confirms receipt of contract and agreement to the terms and conditions. Design changes after receipt of deposit is at my discretion and may require further payment.
By settling any remaining payments, you are agreeing to all terms and conditions and confirming that you have fully checked spellings, grammar and design.
All payments are required by Bank Transfer to ensure a quick turn around. In the rare instance that a cheque payment is required, no work shall be carried out until the cheque has cleared.
All designs are produced digitally and when digital proofs are viewed there is always the chance of variation of colour to that seen or printed on other printers. This is unavoidable and has to be taken into account when placing the order.
Variations between each item can occur during the printing process, this is because they are each hand finished.
If extra prints are required at a later time there may be variations in colour due to alternative print run.
Additional prints often cost significantly more due to the print run size.
For items requiring any further finishing from myself, e.g. scoring, slight variations may occur and a longer turn around time should be expected.
Printed proofs can be obtained if required, however these will incur an additional cost. These will be sent straight to you from my printers and may take up to 14 days.
On the rare occasion that I receive them from the printers damaged then I will need to request a reprint which can take around 4 days (this needs to be kept in mind at the time of ordering)
The bespoke fee is my fee for the design time taken to produce your collection. You do not have ownership of the design and items. Assets and designs may be incorporated into future orders. If you wish to purchase an asset to use for your own use, logo etc, then please contact me for a price.
Your designs may be used for demonstration purposes at wedding fayres and displays in the future.
You have 48 hours after receiving your order to raise any issues you may have and if I do not hear anything by that time I will assume that you are happy with your items.
All items remain property of ‘Invitation by Jessie’ until full payment is received.
Invitations by Jessie retains ownership of all designs and they must not be modified, digitally or manually. This includes photocopying and reproducing additional copies.
Digital copies for sending via email to guests can be purchased in addition to your printed items.
If you wish to cancel your order at any time all fees already paid are non refundable.
A delayed payment can mean that your stationery order will be delayed. I endeavour to ensure that all items are produced and returned to you, however please take note of printing and design times.
RSVP Dates and Table Plans.
Please ensure that your RSVP return dates allow enough time for you to plan your seating arrangements and for my designing and printing of all day stationery (table plan, place cards etc.)
If on receipt of your table plan there is a problem (e.g. damaged) I need to know within 24 hours and images need to be provided of the packaging and the damaged items, this is so I can promptly contact the printers and ask it to be resent.
